How is Indoor Sports Hall Floor Coating Application?

First of all, the surface to be applied must be flat, smooth and cleaned. It is suitable for a floor primer application that is free from moisture, various chemicals and substances. Generally, the primer preference in indoor sports halls is polyurethane based and one component primer. After the primer application, the required drying time should be waited.

Two different applications can be preferred after the primer. The first of these is the application that can be done with SBR rubber roll. After the primer, polyurethane based, two component rubber adhesive should be applied to the surface on which SBR Roll will be applied. SBR roll can be preferred in different thicknesses according to the need. After the rubber roller is adhered, the required time should be waited for full strength.
Another application is the bulk SBR application. For this system, on site application is required, rubber binder and SBR granules are adhered and the desired thickness should be applied with the help of a paver. Required drying time should be waited after pouring application.

After the rubber layer, SBR roller or pour-in-place system is applied, the gaps between the rubber granules are closed with polyurethane based filler and the floor is made ready for other layer applications. After the paste completes its full drying time, it should be started on the polyurethane coating product.

After the filler application, polyurethane self-leveling coating is applied. It is necessary to pay attention to the recommended consumption in this product as in all system products. After the two-component, polyurethane-based coating product is applied to the floor, the required drying time should be waited before starting the final process.

The last coat of paint should be applied to the floor in required consumptions and colors. The playing field and the out of line areas can be made in different colors. Two layers of topcoat paint should be applied. After waiting for the full drying time, the playing areas should be determined with line paint.

It is very important to wait for the demanded consumption at all stages of the application and the drying time in the transitions between the layers. In addition, conditions such as air temperature and humidity at the time of work should be suitable for the application conditions. The indoor gym system is made with an average thickness of 10 mm.
