Polmax 02 Polyurethane Primer
Polmax 02 is a polyurethane based, one component and low solvent floor primer. Provides resistance to moisture, water and most chemicals. It can be used on non-absorbent surfaces such as tiles. It is suitable for use on floors that need waterproofing. In addition, the terrace provides insulation for the roof floors.

Application Informations
The floor on which the application will be made must be free from chemicals, dust and dirt. The floor must be smooth, dry and free of moisture. The application should be done at temperatures between 5°C – 30°C, under normal conditions and no different substance should be added to the product content. Application can be done with a roller, trowel or comb.

- Primer selection should be made according to the application to be made on the floor.
- Epoxy based primers are mainly preferred for industrial floors. The reason for this is generally epoxy system application.
- Epoxy primers are hard and their strength is very strong.
- It is suitable for the application of flexible or rigid products on a polyurethane primer.
- Polyurethane based primer is preferred in indoor sports halls, tartan floors, parquet adhesive applications, waterproofing systems and terraces.
- It is not recommended to add sand in polyurethane primers.
- Epoxy based primers have a hard structure and high strength.
- It is suitable for factory floors, warehouse floors, floors for insulation purposes, acrylic sports systems to be built on concrete.
- Epomax 02 HUM is an epoxy based moisture primer, suitable for use on damp surfaces.
- Moisture rate of the floor should be checked with a moisture measuring device, if the rate is between 3% and 7%, moisture primer should be applied.
- If the humidity on the surface is above 7%, the application should not be made. Normal type primers can be applied at 3% and below.
